The Hotel

We assure you of a warm welcome at our cosy hotel in the car-free resort of Mürren at the heart of the Bernese Oberland, with views of the famous three Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks.

Wrapping around the front corner of the Hotel, there is a large balcony, a favourite place for guests to gather energy on a sunny day and to relish the view while enjoying a drink or perhaps a lunch with local specialities.

Please note : There is no access by vehicle. Mürren is reached by cable car from Stechelberg or Lauterbrunnen. The Hotel Alpenruh is conveniently located next to the Schilthornbahn cable car, which begins at the ground of the valley at Stechelberg, stops in Mürren and continues on to the Schilthorn.

The hotel offers 26 comfortable rooms, 21 of which have a balcony/terrace and views of the famous three Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. 5 rooms have a village orientation and no balcony.

Equipment included : All rooms are equipped with a shower and WC, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, stereo System, cable television and free WiFi access throughout the hotel.
